RSS feeds and Sk*rt

There have been a couple of noteworthy changes recently here at Crunchy Domestic Goddess.

The first is that links to subscribe to my RSS feed via a feed reader (like Google Reader) or via e-mail are now located at the top left-hand corner of my site. Subscribing to my RSS feed is a great way to receive notification whenever new posts are published. If you have already subscribed to my site (you rock!), I’d sincerely appreciate it if you’d resubscribe using one of those links (and then you’ll doubly rock!). That way I can have a better idea of how many people are reading my blog via a feed reader rather than actually coming to my site. Thank you.

The other thing is that you may have noticed I now have a Sk*rt This button at the bottom of each post. If you haven’t been to Sk*rt before or have no idea what it’s about, here’s a little synopsis:

“Sk*rt is the place to find and/or link to anything and everything on the Web that you’d like to share. If sk*rt users like what you submit, they’ll vote for it. The more votes, the more likely your link will make it to the front page. Links on the front page are seen by everybody and get lots of love. The front page content is ever-changing and always cool.”

In other words, it’s a social bookmarking site like Digg,, etc.

What does this mean to you, my amazing, wonderful blog readers? Well, if you read something here that you like, I ask that you please consider hitting the sk*rt this button and sharing it with others. If someone has already shared it on sk*rt, when you click sk*rt this, it will let you know it’s already there and give you the option to vote for it. Votes are good. Votes are my friend. 🙂 Please vote. Thank you!

I may, at some point in the near future, also add a Stumble or Hugg (green news) option to my posts as well. But I need to enlist the help of my trusty web guy (AKA Jody) for that.

Thanks, thanks and more thanks. We now return to your regularly scheduled blog, already in session. 🙂 I promise a more substantial post on Friday.
